Agencies are invited to apply for no cost Covid surplus items from DHS

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is inviting health care organizations, local and tribal health departments, nonprofits, and government agencies to fill out a statewide survey to request surplus supplies from the DHS Warehouse. Items available range from standard COVID-19 PPE items (masks, respirators, gloves) to hygiene items (pillows, toothbrushes) to miscellaneous items such as paper bags.

There are approximately 250 types of items available with varying quantities. The survey is organized into the following categories: Medical Items, Non-Medical Items, Office Supplies, Larger Equipment and Electronic, and PPE surplus.

DHS currently has enough supplies available to support current emergency preparedness needs related to COVID-19 and is aiming to distribute excess materials to partners who may have more urgent needs. This distribution will not impact our state of readiness as we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey is now available online.

The survey will close on Nov. 7, 2022, at 4 p.m. DHS will review all orders, and DHS Warehouse staff will be in touch regarding your request and delivery. In instances where demand exceeds supply, priority will be given to health care organizations. All supplies will then be shipped at no cost.

Please contact DHSStockpile@dhs.wisconsin.gov with any questions.
