WHCA/WiCAL is a stronger supporter of the Vision Centre. The Vision Centre is a national organization that works with universities and facility providers across the country to establish new university and college health care administrator training programs and enhance existing programs. In Wisconsin, we are so fortunate to have our program housed at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire campus, one of the finest in the country!
The Vision Centre will be hosting its Midwest Regional Forum on Wednesday, May 6th. You can find more information, including registration, here . The cost to attend is $150.
WHCA/WiCAL staff has attended past regional forums and has found the experience time well spent, especially the opportunity to engage with our young future sector leaders. This is a unique gathering of senior living providers and partners, and Universities focused or interested in senior living leadership academic programs. The goals of the forum are to gain increased awareness and share best practices around developing future leaders, including supporting field experiences. A second goal is to expand and improve partner relationships between Universities and Providers.
