Important new mid-career nursing facility education and training option available
WHCA/WiCAL continues to work closely with members of the Nursing Home Administrators (NHA) Examining Board and with Department of Safety and Professional Services staff to develop additional options for mid-career long term care professionals who wish to obtain their NHA licenses. One of the newest opportunities is through Madison College. The Program is held twice per year, September/October for eight weeks and again in March/April for eight weeks. Each class is limited to 20 students. Registration for the Fall 2025 is open. Part 1 of the class will take place September 2-28, 2025 and Part 2 will take place September 29 – October 26, 2025.
The first step in the application process is to complete this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9TN3L2R
