Highlights from the 2025 CHAASE Banquet

The 2025 CHAASE Banquet, hosted by the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire’s Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE), took place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Lismore Hotel in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This annual event celebrates the achievements of students in the Health Care Administration (HCAD) program and fosters connections between students, alumni, and industry professionals.
WHCA/WiCAL is a proud sponsor and supporter of the UW Eau Claire HCAD program, and provides $10,000 in annual scholarships to HCAD students. Scholarship dollars are raised via the annual MacKenzie Classic Golf Tournament, benefiting the George F. MacKenzie Scholarship Fund. The 2025 banquet featured the theme “Drafting a Brighter Future in Healthcare,” highlighting the program’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of healthcare leaders. Attendees included students from all academic levels, faculty, alumni, and representatives from partner organizations. A notable component of the evening was the presentation of leadership project posters by HCAD residency students, showcasing their initiatives in areas such as internal operations, customer service, and innovation.
The banquet also served as an opportunity to acknowledge the support of CHAASE’s partners and sponsors, whose contributions enhance student experiences through professional development, research opportunities, and scholarships. The WHCA/WiCAL 2025 scholarship recipients are:
