Celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week: May 11–17, 2025

This week, we proudly celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), an annual observance established by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) to honor the essential role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities.

The 2025 theme, “Tapestry of Life,” highlights the meaningful stories that make up each person’s journey in skilled nursing care. From residents and families to caregivers and staff, everyone adds a unique thread that is woven into this vibrant tapestry.

Throughout the week, facilities across the country are hosting activities and celebrations that highlight the vibrant lives of residents and the dedication of caregivers. It’s a special opportunity to show appreciation for the compassionate professionals who provide care with dignity, respect, and heart.
