Attention Nursing Home Members who have not yet re-registered for the WisCaregiver Careers – CNA Program – Please read

WisCaregiver Careers logo

Please consider re-registering with WisCaregiver Careers – CNA at your earliest convenience.  This opportunity applies to nursing homes that participated in the WisCaregiver Careers program up to April 30, 2024 but have not re-registered for the new iteration of the program effective May 1, 2024.  The new iteration is being administered by the Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) in partnership with the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

We don’t want your facility to miss out on the free CNA candidate referrals or the $1000 per-CNA training reimbursement that the program provides. The program also pays for up to three attempts at the CNA certification exam for each candidate, provides a $500 retention bonus to the new CNA so long as he/she remains in your employ for at least six months, and administers a statewide recruitment campaign which drives candidates to your door.  The program is 100% free to employers.
