As a result of Gov. Tony Evers’ Declaration of a Public Health Emergency due to COVID-19 yesterday, WHCA/WiCAL has made the decision to cancel the in-person component of the 58th Annual Spring Conference & Expo for April 1-3 in Green Bay.
WHCA/WiCAL leadership made this determination in order to protect everyone concerned and to allow our providers to focus on the well-being of their residents and staffs. WHCA/WiCAL staff is actively pursuing a means of offering this content virtually, and will be back in touch with all conference attendees regarding the timing, platform, and details of how this content will be provided.
Please understand, we are still sorting out all the details associated with this change in events, and we will share details regarding the education aspect as they become available. Stay tuned to member announcements and CareConnection for details.

Hotel Room Reservation Cancellations: Please contact the Hyatt Regency Green Bay directly for any room reservation cancellation requests. Phone Number: 920-432-1234. This will need to be completed no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival to avoid any cancellation charges, per the Hyatt Regency Green Bay cancellation policy. If you made reservations outside of the Hyatt Regency in Green Bay, please refer to that hotel’s cancellation policy and handle accordingly. WHCA/WiCAL is unable to process hotel reservation cancellations on your behalf.
Refunds: All registered attendees will be eligible to receive the Conference education virtually. Details and timing of this virtual educational offering will be finalized and communicated soon. However, a partial refund of $75 will be issued to registered attendees (or applicable invoice adjustment) to adjust the pricing for attendance of the virtual conference. IF you are not able to or do not wish to receive this education and applicable CEUs virtually (via a web-based platform – webinar or video session), please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your cancellation request and full refunds will be processed and issued as timely as possible.
