WHCA/WiCAL is excited to announce Jena Jackson as our new Development Director!
Jena has a diverse background in brand management, sales, marketing, and public relations. She brings her 15+ years of professional experiences to WHCA/WiCAL with fresh perspective and ideas for growth.
An interview panel of WHCA/WiCAL Members and Business Partners unanimously selected Jena among a pool of qualified candidates.
“We are excited to bring Jena onto staff to help our association provide the best possible service to members,” said Jeff Schueller, WHCA Board President. “Jena will be a valuable contributor as we continue to find new and innovative ways to develop member benefits and add value to association membership.”
Previously having been an Account Executive and Education Consultant with Elite Business Partner CE Solutions, Jena has a deep understanding of the needs of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. She has a regulatory background, having previously worked in Government Relations as an advocate for Veterans, active duty military, civilians, and their families.
Pat LeMire of M3 Insurance, who, along with Laurie Jochmann of Navigator, represented Business Partners on the search and selection committee, said Jackson left no doubts that she will serve WHCA/WiCAL Members and Business Partners effectively.
“As chairman of the WHCA/WiCAL Business Partner Committee, I am excited to have Jena on WHCA/WiCAL staff to help Business Partners advance our shared goal of helping providers offer high quality services to their residents,” said LeMire. “Jena will be a valuable contributor as we continue to find new and innovative ways to develop the benefits of Business Partnership.”
Jena’s background in advocacy and program development will help her hit the ground running at WHCA/WiCAL. Jena is a social and digital media expert, and will use her experience across new and traditional platforms to help grow our membership and enhance and grow WHCA/WiCAL offerings and membership benefits.
“I am really looking forward to the opportunity of serving WHCA/WiCAL Members and Business Partners in this new position,” Jackson said. “In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to meeting with members of Wisconsin’s long-term care provider community to ensure that I serve you effectively!”
