Wisconsin Begins Offering Occupational Therapy Compact Privilege
DSPS has begun offering Occupational Therapy (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Compact privileges.
So importantly for our members current OT/OTA license holders in the 7 other Compact States – Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Tennessee will now have reciprocal license privileges in Wisconsin. Meaning that those license holders are able to practice in Wisconsin with an easier license application process, applying for “Privilege to Practice” in Wisconsin.
This compact is the latest effort in Wisconsin to improve efforts and make it easier to attract healthcare professionals to come work in healthcare settings across the state of Wisconsin, including in long-term care settings.
