WHCA/WiCAL is pleased to partner with other AHCA/NCAL state affiliates to offer National Quality Award Workshops designed to help providers successfully navigate the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program and strengthen their commitment to performance excellence.

Whether your organization is pursuing the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Quality Award, these interactive workshops provide practical guidance, expert instruction, and ongoing support throughout the application process.

This year’s workshops will be facilitated by Cathy Bergland, a nationally recognized leader in performance excellence and a current member of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board.

Meet the Facilitator

Cathy Bergland brings decades of leadership and quality improvement experience to these workshops. She has served with Presbyterian Homes & Services since 1986 in a variety of leadership roles and currently works with CB Leadership Group, a consulting and training organization focused on leadership development, intercultural competence, and performance excellence.

Cathy holds a degree in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She has served as adjunct faculty at both the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Bethel University and brings more than 15 years of experience working with the Baldrige Performance Excellence Criteria.

In addition to serving on the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board, Cathy has supported the program as a judge, trainer, and independent examiner.
