This month, a 2018-2019 recipient of the George F. MacKenzie Scholarship, Madelyn Blaha, graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with her Masters in Business Administration and was the 100,000th graduate to cross the stage at Zorn Arena.

Madelyn posted on her LinkedIn page:

When I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2020, our ceremony was canceled due to the pandemic. As a result, I was excited to make it on stage this time around with my MBA! It was a great day to be back at the most beautiful campus filled with so many memories.

To top it all off, the ceremony included a surreal and surprising moment when I was announced as the 100,000th graduate to cross the stage at Zorn Arena in the final day of graduation ceremonies in this building. Cheers to all my fellow 2024 graduates! 🎓
