Supporting Activities Professionals: WRAP Updates & Opportunities

WHCA/WiCAL works closely with the Wisconsin Representatives of Activities Professionals (WRAP), Wisconsin’s premier association for activities professionals working in the nursing home and assisted living settings.  We encourage all activities professionals to join WRAP.  Here is additional background on the organization: Why WRAP?

We would also like to bring two additional items to your attention:

• WRAP will be holding its 2026 annual conference September 23-25 at the Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.   Please have your Activities Professional hold these dates.  A brochure and registration information will be available shortly.
• WRAP, through its national affiliate, National Association of Activity Professionals, and our national affiliate, National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), has created an Assisted Living Activities Professional Certification course.  Additional information for you and your Assisted Living Center Activities Professional can be found here: Background Information
