National Nurse Corps Scholarships: Apply by April 9th
The 2026 Nurse Corps Scholarship Program application cycle is open. Applications must be submitted on or before Thursday, April 9th at 7:30 Eastern Time/6:30 Central Time.
The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program is a national program administered by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). It provides scholarships to RN students, including Advanced Practice RN students. WHCA/WiCAL and our national affiliate, AHCA/NCAL, have asked Congress to increase funding for the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program in the federal fiscal year 2027 budget and to dedicate a percentage of all funds appropriated to registered nursing students who have committed to practice in long term care.
