Free Nursing Home Training Opportunity – Deadline is August 31st!
As you may know, since August 2022, WHCA/WiCAL has partnered with LeadingAge Wisconsin and MetaStar, Wisconsin’s Quality Improvement Organization, on a federal grant to provide staff education and training in the important areas of pressure injuries and diabetic foot ulcers. This training is very comprehensive and has been very well received by facilities that have already taken the training. Best of all, we are providing the training for free!
The federal grant is ending on August 31st but there still are in person (3) and remote training (21) slots available. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Jenna Heim at MetaStar, jheim@metastar.com.
