The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Engagement & Training (UWO CCDET), has announced the Fall 2026 virtual caregiver workshops through the Wisconsin Caregiver Training Project.
These instructor-led workshops provide practical, up-to-date guidance to help administrators, supervisors, trainers, HR professionals, and compliance staff meet regulatory requirements while strengthening their organizations.
September Workshops:
- September 9 – Caregivers SOAR! Encouraging Success • Opportunities • Advancement • Retention
- September 10 – Investigating & Reporting Allegations of Misconduct (For State-Regulated Providers)
- September 15 – Investigating & Reporting Requirements (For Federally Certified Providers)
Additional workshops are scheduled throughout October, November, and December, including:
- Mastering Past Noncompliance
- 5 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks
- Setting Your Training Course
- Ready, Set, Train – Caregiver Continuing Education
- Rules of the Road
- Challenging Behavioral Specialist Train-the-Trainer (in-person)
