Assisted Living In-Person Provider Forums
As previewed in our July 1st Care Connection article on the Assisted Living Forum, yesterday the Bureau of Assisted Living announced a series of 4 regional in-person forums.
Space is limited, so please register sooner than later to attend a session near you.
WHCA-WiCAL plans to have staff represented at each of the four meetings and will report out on noted trends and informational updates provided by BAL staff.
We look forward to these in-person forums as an opportunity to build relationships between providers and the Bureau in the hopes of a more collaborative survey process.

Assisted Living In-Person Provider Forums
The Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) invites Assisted Living providers to attend in-person forums hosted by DQA’s Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL) regional offices. The Assisted Living Forum provides an opportunity for assisted living providers, administrators, caregivers, and industry professionals to discuss important topics impacting assisted living services and resident care. These forums are designed to encourage collaboration, provide regulatory updates, and support continuous quality improvement within Wisconsin’s assisted living communities.
Topics of discussion will include:
- Updates and guidance regarding assisted living regulations and requirements
- Best practices in resident care and service delivery
- Current local and national trends affecting assisted living providers
- Helpful tools to prepare for and navigate surveys
Each Assisted Living Regional Forum will be held from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
