Governor Evers Task Force on the Healthcare Workforce released its Report on August 19, 2024. Governor Evers Task Force on the Healthcare Workforce Report  .  Rick Abrams, WHCA/WiCAL CEO, represented the Association on the Task Force.  The report contains 10 global workforce enhancement recommendations with 26 associated action plans.  The Evers Administration will now examine the Task Force’s work.  We expect many of the recommendations and proposed action plans to be part of the Governor’s proposed 2025-27 state budget.  Recommendations and action plans that do not make it into the budget or that are struck from the budget during legislative review can also proceed via standalone legislation.
