Transition to new Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) System

DHS logo

The Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) has provided advanced notice of the upcoming transition to the new Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) process for nursing home providers.

On March 6, 2026, DQA announced the coming of the new ePOC process and encouraged providers to prepare for that transition by ensuring appropriate staff have appropriate login credentials and their user role identified. You can watch a short training video to see the functionality of the iQIES ePOC.

ePOC will be rolled out to providers on the following dates:

May 1, 2026 – Southern Region

June 1, 2026 – Northeastern and Northwestern Regions

July 1, 2026 – Southeastern Region

The ePOC process is mandatory and all providers must have credentials and user roles prior to the go live dates listed above. It is important that all nursing home providers follow the iQIES Access Instructions for Long Term Care Providers Using ePOC to ensure that the person(s) responsible for receiving SODs and writing POCs has the appropriate log-in credentials and user role identified.
