Grant Opportunity: Training Healthcare Workers in Rural Communities
The Collaboration of Wisconsin (COW) Rural Healthcare Grant is being administered by a collaboration of workforce development boards and funds are available to cover tuition, books and selected supports (transportation, etc.) for qualifying participants.
Individuals who will work, including long-term care facilities, in the following counties are qualified to apply:
Adams, Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Clark, Dodge, Fond du Lac (west side), Green Lake, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sauk, Sawyer, St. Croix (east side), Taylor, Washburn, Waupaca, Waushara, Wood
The following occupations are covered under the grant:
ADN Registered Nurse, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Medical and Clinical Lab Technician, Phlebotomist, Substance Abuse Counselor, Social and Human Services Assistant, Telehealth (certificate only)
