WisCaregiver Careers Releases New Videos: Meet Lori!
WisCaregiver Careers recently released a new series of videos intended to recruit new people to become CNAs in Wisconsin nursing homes.
Each week, we will be showing one of the recruitment videos. We encourage everyone to watch, listen, and share the videos.
This week, we are pleased to introduce you to Lori. In the video, Lori shares about her 36 rewarding years as a CNA.
WisCaregiver Careers is a workforce development program administered by the Wisconsin Health Care Association and LeadingAge Wisconsin designed to address the CNA shortage in Wisconsin nursing homes by providing free training, free certification testing, and $500 sign-on or retention bonuses. The program seeks to encourage new workers to enter the field of caregiving by lowering the costs of becoming a CNA and by making training more readily accessible.
