We have previously reported on the more comprehensive facility assessment requirement which took effect on August 8, 2024.  This requirement is set forth in CMS’ nursing facility minimum staffing rule. Wisconsin’s Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), Superior Health Quality Alliance/MetaStar, has also developed a very helpful compliance template: Facility assessment.   They are also offering Wisconsin nursing homes one on one assistance in reviewing their facility assessment.
