Attendee registration provides post-acute care owner/operators and their staff an all-access pass to Convention!
Attendee registration includes NAB-approved continuing education programs, unlimited access to the convention app (Expo Pass), and entry to all WHCA/WiCAL hosted social events & programs. All attendees have the option to add-on registration to the pre-convention program for just $99!
Included with Attendee Registration:
- Fall Convention Registration – earn up to 8.5 NAB CEs (up to 11 CEs when the Survey Session is added to registration)
- Expo Pass access (the convention app), where attendees can view the agenda, review speaker and program details, provide session feedback, and plan their convention experience
- Refreshments for the duration of Convention, including breakfast on Thursday and Friday
- A Golden Ticket – a special prize card for entry into an array of cash prizes awarded during the Expo Hall Happy Hour
- Admission to the Convention Kickoff Party with hosted beer, wine, dinner, and cash bar
- Admission to the Awards Ceremony, with a hosted lunch
- Admission to the Expo Hall with open bar and hosted food
- Closing Ceremony admission with hosted breakfast, hosted bloody mary & mimosa bar, and a chance to win $500 in cash
Pre-Convention Add-On: For just $99, attendees may add on registration to the Annual Survey Session, hosted from 9 AM – 12 PM on Wednesday, October 23. Attendees will receive an additional 2.5 NAB CEs by attending this session. The Survey Session reviews state survey trends, addresses survey issues, and prepares attendees for better survey outcomes. Brian Purtell is lead faculty for the Survey Session. All Survey Session attendees will receive a light breakfast and boxed lunch.
Convention Highlights: The Convention Kick-Off Party is a fun and casual social event, with hosted beer, wine, and food on Wednesday, October 23 from 4:30 – 8:00 PM. The prestigious Awards Ceremony & Luncheon, on October 24 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, recognizes the amazing achievements of individuals and organizations working in long term care. The Expo Hall opens its doors to 45 professional vendors immediately following the Awards Ceremony lunch. The Expo Hall Happy hour is the final social event on Thursday, October 24, with open bar and hosted food, from 4 – 6:15 PM. WHCA/WiCAL will be giving away $1,700 in cash prizes at the Expo Happy Hour, with many exhibitors also giving away an array of fun prizes. The 2024 Fall Convention concludes on Friday, October 25, when we welcome AHCA/NCAL Clif Porter and NCAL Executive Director LaShuan Bethea as our closing keynotes. The closing ceremony is complemented with a hosted breakfast and bloody mary & mimosa bar! WHCA/WiCAL will also be awarding a $500 cash prize to one closing ceremony attendee.
