Register to Attend the Women of LTC Leadership Symposium

In the United States, nearly 90% of the long-term care workforce is comprised of women. Yet, less than 20% of all long-term care leadership roles are held by women. The future stability and successes of the long-term care sector will be dependent on strong leadership. This is why it’s crucial for this sector to actively support and empower its largest workforce: the women of long-term care.

This Women of LTC Leadership Symposium is designed to empower & inspire the women of long-term care to become influential leaders and powerful advocates for the sector. The symposium is open to all women working in long-term care, regardless of WHCA/WiCAL affiliation or membership. Women at any stage of their career: from frontline clinical staff to executives or dietary aids to activity directors to current CEOs should attend this program.

WHCA/WiCAL has curated an impactful lineup of presenters and speakers, comprised of women in leadership roles. Additionally, WHCA/WiCAL partner sponsors are sending their women leaders to support the program. AHCA/NCAL women leadership and all women leaders from the state legislature have been invited to participate this event!

The event will be hosted at the Concourse Hotel in the heart of Madison on August 14. A welcome reception for all symposium attendees, speakers, sponsors, and special guests, complete with hosted dinner and drinks, will be held the evening prior at the Concourse Hotel, from 4:30 – 8:30 PM. The Concourse has extended a special discounted rate to our guests, which expires on July 23rd!  Additionally, Concourse reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to check in with NO fees! We encourage you to make hotel reservations as soon as possible (even if this means prior to completing the event registration).
