From our national affiliate, AHCA/NCAL, an overview of recently released CMS QSO memo 24 -14.  We note specifically the important change in the Staff Turnover Measure Methodology in Nursing Home Care Compare:  Employees on leave for up to 90 days (rather than 60) will not be counted as turnover effective July 31st.   This change is designed to address the inherent unfairness of penalizing facilities for an employee on maternity or paternity leave, as well as other extended absences.
