Dan Perron, Director of the Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL), within the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), recently announced his upcoming departure. Perron’s last day as BAL Director will be March 31, 2023.

Perron began as BAL Director in October 2021.

DQA Administrator Otis Woods has indicated that DQA has begun the recruitment process to fill Perron’s vacancy. DQA is also exploring a temporary assignment to represent BAL until a successor is hired.
