As you may know, Mark Parkinson, President and CEO of our national affiliate, American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), will be retiring at the end of 2024 after a very successful 14 year tenure in the job.  This week, the AHCA/NCAL Board selected Clif Porter to succeed Mark as President and CEO.  Clif is currently AHCA/NCAL’s Senior Vice President for Government Relations.

WHCA/WiCAL thanks Mark for his outstanding and effective service to the sector and to the residents and patients we serve.  We congratulate Clif on his selection as the new President and CEO and look forward to working with him in his new role.
