Attendee registration gives post-acute care providers & facility staff an all-access pass to Convention. Attendee registration includes NAB-approved continuing education programs, unlimited access to the convention app (Expo Pass), hosted food and drinks at the opening night reception networking event, a seat at the Awards Ceremony & Luncheon, and admission to the Expo Hall. Food and beer are hosted at the opening night reception, light breakfast fare is offered to all attendees on Thursday morning, plated lunch hosted during the Awards Ceremony & Luncheon, and hosted appetizers and open bar during the Expo. The convention concludes with an impactful closing keynote, a hearty hosted breakfast, and a hosted bloody mary and mimosa bar!

The survey session is a 3-hour pre-convention education program hosted from 9 AM – 12 PM on Wednesday, October 23. The Survey Session reviews state survey trends, addresses survey issues, and prepares attendees for better survey outcomes. Brian Purtell is lead faculty for the Survey Session. Survey Session attendees will receive a boxed lunch. You can add on the Survey Session to your Convention registration for just $99!

WHCA/WiCAL anticipates hosting 300 attendees at the 2024 Fall Convention. With all of our events, we cater to and focus on supporting owners/operators, corporate leadership, facility leadership, C-Suites, administrators, executive directors, DONs, and other facility management/operational staff – these influencers and decision-makers make up over 95% of our attendee base. Our attendees represent the full care continuum, in various care settings, including SNF, IDD, AFH, CBRF, and RCAC. Attendees include multi-facility/corporate entities, for profit and non-profit organizations, and rural providers.

SOLD OUT! Exhibitor Registration : $1,500 – includes registration for 2 booth staff, the convention app, Expo Pass, the traffic builder promotion (company name on the Golden Ticket), an 8×10 ft booth, one 8 ft table, 2 chairs; booths are piped and draped.   • Tear Down: Thursday, October 24 from 6-7 PM
  • Valley Expo will be constructing the expo hall on Wednesday October 23 from 12-4 PM. You will NOT be able to set up prior to 4 PM on October 23. Additionally, booth tear down prior to the conclusion of the expo hall or during expo hall hours is prohibited.

Networking: Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to attend the Opening Night Reception on Wednesday, October 23 from 4:30 – 7:30 PM. Admission to this networking event is included with exhibitor and sponsor registration. There are no WHCA/WiCAL hosted events following the Expo, which is  a great opportunity to arrange drinks/dinners with the provider attendees!

The Osthoff Resort

The Reservation Cut-Off Date is September 23, 2024. The discounted rate will be honored through this date. We cannot guarantee rates or availability after September 23rd! 

The Osthoff website is very particular, so oftentimes most efficient to make reservations over the phone. If you receive any kind of error message attempting to make an online reservation, please call the Osthoff using the instructions below. Group reservations must be secured via phone.

For online reservations: visit www.osthoff.com. Select Fall as the season/timeframe and then select your arrival and departure dates. The name/email must be that of the guest staying at the Osthoff. After entering the name/email of the guest, enter code: 47486, in the Group ID box, located below the dates/accommodation/adults/children section. This will ensure you received the contracted/discounted rates for our event.

For individual & group reservations: call 1-800-876-3399 and select prompt #1. Reference “The Wisconsin Health Care Association 2024” to receive the discounted rate.


Rates: Guestrooms and 1-2 Bedroom Suites are $149/night | 2-3 bedroom lakeside premier/corner premier suites (limited availability) are $189/night
