When F-329 is thought of, usually it is in relationship to antipsychotic use, behaviors, and dementia care. This F-Tag refers to unnecessary medications. ALL medication. There is a special focus on Narcotics, Anticoagulants, and Diuretics, as well as psychoactive medication. Join us in this session to be able verbalize what areas are being reviewed during the survey process, assess facility at-risk areas related to related unnecessary medications and initiate PIPs to monitor and improve the identified risk areas as well as improve quality of care.
