The 62nd Spring Conference and Expo returns to the KI Convention Center & Hyatt Regency Hotel, located in the heart of Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 10-12. The educational programming provides attendees with modern workforce solutions, innovative ideas on how to do more with less, data and information to handle critical financial matters, and fresh perspectives on post-acute care practices. Each session will take a deep dive into the matters that are urgent and pressing in today’s long term care landscape, while also sharing real-life practicum and implementation tools. This year, we go beyond the what and focus on the how. Attendees will be asked to reflect on their challenges, given opportunities to recharge their minds, and be fully supported to rediscover their strength.
It wouldn’t be a WHCA/WiCAL event without food and FUN! All participants – both attendees and exhibitors – receive an all-access pass to Conference. Once you arrive to Conference, rest assured you will be taken care of, from education to entertainment, we have you covered! Registration includes the following: education programing, submission of earned CEs to NAB, all networking events, food and refreshments throughout conference, Expo Hall access, chances to win several cash prizes, and unlimited access to the conference app. We hope all of our attendees & exhibitors take time to socialize and enjoy themselves during the 62nd Annual Spring Conference & Expo.

The infection control plan not only includes residents but also visitors and all facility staff. Numerous regulatory changes have been implemented since COVID-19 and new guidance from the CDC all need to be implemented in the current infection control program. This training will outline the key components of an infection control program, review regulations and CDC guidelines, as well as discuss the importance of involving all disciplines in the program. Important elements of the Infection Control program relative to Food Services and Environmental services will be included to discuss food safety and water management program.
