On Tuesday, March 5, the Senate Committee on Health voted 5-1 to recommend passage of Assembly Bill 1088, legislation related to addressing challenges of placement of complex patients from a hospital setting to a post-acute setting. The bill passed with bipartisan support, with only Sen. Andre Jacque, R-DePere, opposing. The bill had previously passed unanimously through the Assembly on Feb. 22.
