One of our business partners, Healthcare Workforce Training Institute, recently brought to our attention a misunderstanding by some nursing facilities of what constitutes appropriate medication aide certification training for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in a nursing facility setting. Some facilities believe that the 14 hours of training required in the Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) setting is sufficient for the nursing facility.
