Introducing WiLQAL: A New Quality Improvement Opportunity for Assisted Living Communities
MetaStar is excited to introduce WiLQAL — the Wisconsin Initiative for Long‑Term Care Quality and Leadership, a no-cost program designed specifically to support Assisted Living communities in strengthening their quality improvement and quality assurance efforts.
WiLQAL provides data‑driven, onsite technical assistance that is fully customized to each participating community. Our support includes:
- A comprehensive gap assessment
- Scheduled check‑ins
- Hands‑on assistance
- Shared problem‑solving
- Evidence‑based LOCK(S) Change Packages
- A community‑specific Quality Improvement Action Plan
- Individualized coaching from experienced quality improvement professionals
Working side‑by‑side with your team, we assess your current systems and identify opportunities to enhance or streamline your existing QA/QI processes. WiLQAL is intentionally designed to meet organizations where they are, ensuring the work aligns with your unique needs, resources, and priorities.
Communities can choose from key focus areas such as:
- Falls prevention
- Medication safety
- Infection prevention and control
Or select another priority that reflects your current goals.
Throughout the program, MetaStar’s dedicated team will guide your organization through its improvement journey using the LOCK(S) framework to support meaningful, sustainable, and achievable change.
